ANATEL postponed the mandatory period for carrying out emission and radiated immunity tests in Restricted Radiation Equipment (Category II), based on ATO 14448.
According to the Agency, an evaluation of the EMC radiated testing procedure should be done, in order to create a uniform way of performing the tests between the laboratories. However, ANATEL did not specify an official deadline. The new requirements will be suspended until the Agency completes the study on how to standardize the tests or until August 29, 2018, whichever comes first, as informed in ANATEL’s ATO nº 4735.
